Towny ποΈ
How to start your own town ποΈ
To create your town, choose a location for your town's spawn point. Once you've decided, create the town by typing the command:
/t new
Spaces in the name will automatically be replaced with underscores when submitted.
Important Information: Your town must be at least 12 chunks away from other towns. If thereβs another town too close, you won't be able to create yours. This rule also applies when creating outposts or claiming additional land.
Funding Your Town π°
Once you've created your town, it's time to fund it. You'll need to ensure you have enough money to maintain the town and avoid bankruptcy. The town has daily upkeep fees based on the number of members in the town.
- To deposit money into the townβs bank use the command - /t deposit amount. If you do not want to type that command you can deposit money via the town menu (/tm) and go to economy menu.
We recommend starting with Β£7500 to Β£10,000 to cover initial expenses and daily upkeep.
Your town needs funds to cover its daily upkeep. The more members your town has, the higher the upkeep will be. You can track how much time remains until the next upkeep with the command - /towny time
The money in your town's bank is also used to purchase claim blocks and expand your town by claiming land (chunks). You can use the command /town buy bonus (ammount) to buy more chunks. Without sufficient funds, you won't be able to expand or maintain your town.
Outposts
If you want to claim land that's not directly adjacent to your town, you can create an outpost. An outpost allows you to claim land far from your main town area.
1.) /t claim outpost - Allows you to claim an outpost.
2.) /t claim - Allows you to claim chinks for your outpost.
Using outposts gives you the flexibility to expand your townβs reach beyond its immediate vicinity.
How to Join a Town ποΈ
If you're looking for a bit of adventure and want to quickly find a new home in the game, the Town RTP feature is a great option. This feature teleports you to a random town, giving you the chance to explore different communities, see what they offer, and perhaps even find the perfect place to settle down.
- Commands for Towny RTP:
1.) /town rtp - Teleport to a random town that fits the criteria.
2.) /town rtp ignore - Teleport without receiving a cost warning.
3.) /town rtp autojoin - Automatically join the town you are teleported to.
Important Information:
- You must not be an outlaw in the town you're teleported to.
- The town must be public and open to new members.
- The town must have a free plot available for you to claim.
For town mayors, if your town meets these criteria, it will automatically be added to the random teleport pool, increasing the likelihood that players will visit and potentially join. Once youβre teleported, you can use /town join
If you'd prefer to take your time exploring towns, you can browse through open towns manually to find one that suits your preferences. This allows you to carefully consider your options and choose a community that aligns with your playstyle and goals.
- Commands to Visit Open Towns:
1.) /opentowns - View a list of all available open towns.
2.) /town spawn
How to Create a Nation π°
Everything here can be managed in the nation menu using the command /nm
To create a nation, players must first have 15,000 in-game currency. Once you have the required amount, you can create your nation using the /n new (name) command. This command sets up your nation with the name you choose and automatically makes you the founder and leader.
Key Commands:
1.) /n new (name) - Creates a new nation with the specified name.
2.) /n set spawn - Sets the nation spawn location to the capital city of your nation. This is automatically set to the city of the player who creates the nation.
Once your nation is created, you will automatically become the nation leader and will have the ability to manage and shape the future of your nation.
Managing Nations and Titles π
As a nation leader, one of your main responsibilities will be to invite and manage towns within your nation. You can invite other players' towns to join your nation using the /n invite (town name) command. The invited town can then accept the invitation with the /t accept (town name) command.
In addition to managing towns, you can assign titles and surnames to players within your nation. These titles help organize and identify players with specific roles or status within the nation. To assign a title or surname, use the following commands:
1.) /n invite (town name) - Invites a town to join your nation.
2.) /t accept (town name) - Accepts an invitation to join a nation.
3.) /n set title (name) (title) - Assigns a specific title to a player.
4.) /n set surname (name) (surname) - Assigns a surname to a player.
How to join a Nation π°
You must be in a town before joining a nation. You cannot join a nation without first becoming a member of a town. The nation you wish to join must be open to new members, as some nations may have recruitment restrictions.
Diffrent Ways to Join a Nation βοΈ
- Join a town
To join a nation, you first need to become a resident of a town. If you don't already belong to a town, you can either:
1.) Create your own town
2.) Find and join an existing town - Ask other players, use in-game commands, or check the discord to find towns that have open spots.
- Find a Nation
After joining a town, you can check which nation the town is part of. To do this type the following command to see the town's details:
/town
1.) Look for the "Nation" section to see the name of the nation your town is in.
2.) If your town is not part of a nation, you may need to ask the town mayor or higher-ranking officials if they can invite you to a nation or if they plan to join one.
- Request to Join a Nation
Once you know the nation you want to join, you will need to contact the nation's leader or officers. This can be done by:
1.) Messaging the nation's leader - The leader of the nation (usually the mayor of one of the towns in the nation) can invite new members.
2.) Using the Towny commands - If the nation has an open invitation, you might be able to join directly by using the /nation join nationname command. However, this command is typically restricted to the nation's leader and town mayors.
